Steve's Real Food Freeze-Dried Cat Food uses the same great ingredients as the original Quest, we simply use a cold freeze-dry process to remove the moisture and make it shelf stable. Quest is a prey model diet of meats, organs, bones, and whole red krill for added Omega-3 fatty acids. It is incredibly palatable for our finicky felines. The nugget is a smaller than our original to be perfectly catered to cats.

Our beef comes from family ranchers in the heart of the Northwest. The cows graze freely in pastures and are given plenty of space to display natural behaviors. They are checked daily for signs of illness or discomfort and have access to an on-call veterinarian 24/7. The farm is USDA-verified, and shares our belief in an obligation to preserve the environment and treat the animals with the best care. Our goat milk comes from a family farm in Gaston, Oregon. Steve's Real Food is committed to working with family farms that share our belief in sustainable farming free from added hormones, antibiotics, and pesticides.

Feeding

Rehydrating freeze-dry food is recommended to help with digestion. We designed our food to be soft and easy to rehydrate. To rehydrate, simply follow steps 1-3:

  1. Measure the freeze-dried food and pour it into your cat’s serving platter
  2. Rehydrate the food by adding water, bone broth, or raw goat milk on top of the food. Wait about 5 mins for the liquid to absorb into the food.
  3. Serve the food to your pet
